Lyomoki Development Organisation (LYDO) is a registered National Non-Governmental Organisation operating on a not-for-profit basis in Uganda.
LYDO is dedicated to fostering sustainable development through holistic programming that addresses health, education, agriculture, and economic empowerment.
LYDO takes a community-centred approach in all its work — engaging local stakeholders, building capacity, and fostering partnerships that drive lasting social change, guided by strong values of teamwork, integrity, transparency, and accountability.

Individual and group membership is open, however one can become a member after paying the required membership fee which is determined by the general assembly.
The organisation is governed by a board comprising 12 members. The Executive Director is appointed to the board as secretary to the board and is responsible for the secretariat and day-to-day management of the affairs of the organisation.
LYDO currently operates in a number of districts across Uganda, with active programmes in:
LYDO runs a portfolio of integrated programmes that reach the most vulnerable communities in Uganda.
The organisation runs a polytechnic school and aims to operate multiple polytechnic schools within different districts in Uganda.
The organisation already runs 2 medical centres and is aiming to operate multiple medical centres within different districts in Uganda.
The organisation educates and promotes modern agriculture in different districts across Uganda.
LYDO provides targeted support to orphans and other vulnerable children, including educational sponsorships, healthcare, dressing, feeding, and a safe, nurturing environment.
Promoting gender equality, women's empowerment, and inclusive practices across all our programmes and community engagements.
Promoting and preserving natural resources while raising awareness and educating communities on environmental conservation.
